Deerfield Beach, a small sleepy beach town smack in the middle of West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, is becoming an increasingly desirable location for aspiring homeowners here in Florida and up North. Why? If you look deeper into what this town has to offer, the reasons become quite clear.
Established in 1877, Deerfield Beach was first known as an agricultural based town that was a stop along Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railroad. Next time you’re taking a drive down A1A, take some extra time to go down south and pass through Deerfield to see just what it has to offer. The road directly parallel from the ocean has a spacious walkway perfect for joggers or bikers; Ocean’s 234 restaurant recently released a new menu under a new chef; and Sullivan Park, a playground and water play area perfect for families, just had its grand opening a few months ago.
