Fall Festivities in South Florida

Happy fall! While it may be warm in south Florida, our community still does an exceptional job of upholding classic fall traditions and festivities! From fliers you may receive in the mail or see posted on a wall to trending Facebook events, there are a lot of activities going on in these last few months of the year, and it can be hard to sort through them all! In this blog post, we’re highlighting some of the top fall events in south Florida, from events you can attend with the whole family to fun just for adults! Oktoberfest

Where: Lake Worth

When: October 9-10 and 16-17

What: The “best Oktoberfest in the Palm Beaches” is a perfect October event for adults to attend with friends! Enjoy authentic German beers, bratwursts, schnitzel, liquor, games, folk dancing, and much more! Tickets are $10 and are only sold in advance, so better snag some now before all days sell out!

Wellington Fall Festival

Where: Village Park in Wellington

When: October 16

What: Looking for a free event to attend with the whole family? Look no further! Wellington’s fall festival offers free admission to their jam-packed Saturday event complete with bounce houses, a costume contest, hay rides, a pie-eating contest, and more! There will be a plethora of food trucks serving food and beverages, too. 


Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival

Where: Mizner Park Amphitheater 

When: October 30 & 31

What: After missing a year due to the pandemic, one of Boca Raton’s most beloved fall festivals is back! This festival has everything you want for fall, including a pumpkin patch (of course), a scarecrow village, plenty of photo-op spots, a carnival, pumpkin decorating station, pumpkin food court, and even a beer bar for the adults! Tickets are $25 per person for this weekend-long event. 

Florida Day of the Dead Celebration

Where: Huizenga Plaza in Fort Lauderdale

When: November 2

What: Looking for something more cultural? Fort Lauderdale is hosting a Dia de los Muertos (of Day of the Dead) celebration to celebrate the ancient Mexican and Latin American tradition. Dancing, a skeleton processional, art exhibitions, traditional food, Mariachi band performances, and so much more will be on display at this holiday event. 

Camelot Days Medieval Festival

Where: T.Y. Park in Hollywood

When: November 6-7, 13-14, & 20-21

What: Every weekend in November, a classic medieval celebration will take place in the park complete with traditional music, food, art markets, a living chess game, and more! Going all-out in a costume is not only acceptable at this event, but it’s expected! This festival is great for anyone who wants to dress up even after Halloween is over.
